Nimai currently includes the Bhagavad Gita (701 verses, 18 chapters), Rudrashtakam, and Ganpati Atharvashirsha. More scriptures and stotras are added regularly through app updates.
Which languages does Nimai support?
Nimai supports English, Hindi, and Marathi. You can switch languages from the library screen at any time. Translations and AI responses adapt to your selected language.
How does the AI Sanskrit scholar work?
While reading any verse, swipe left to open the AI chat. You can ask about the meaning of Sanskrit words, the philosophy behind the verse, historical context, pronunciation guidance, and more. The AI responds in your chosen language.
How do I enable audio auto-play?
While in the reader, tap the settings icon at the top right. You can enable auto-play audio, auto-scroll to the next verse, and choose your play mode (verse recitation, meaning, or both).
Does Nimai save my reading progress?
Yes. Nimai automatically saves your position in every scripture. When you return to a text, you will be taken back to exactly where you left off.
Is Nimai free?
Yes, Nimai is free to download and use on iOS.
The audio is not playing. What should I do?
Make sure your device is not on silent mode and that the volume is turned up. If the issue persists, close the app fully and reopen it. If audio still does not work, please contact us at the email below.
The AI chat is not responding. What should I do?
The AI chat requires an active internet connection. Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data connection and try again. If the issue continues, please contact us.
